Creative Commons
CreativeCommons.org is a brand new way to think about copyright
(or as it has been refereed to recently copywrong). The problem
with copyright is that it is badly outdated.
Copyright, in its current form, only allows for very restrictive
access to ones intellectual property. In this modern age there
is a need for a broader range of options regarding copyright.
Once again Larry Lessig not only has an opinion on a problem
but a
creative
solution. Creative Commons is the future of copyright. Created
with the internet in mind Creative Commons allows for different
levels of copyright that will allow others to build on top
of your intellectual property, while still giving you control
of your ideas. |
