| TWO PADRES - twopardes.com |
| |
Dan Oleski and Bryan Benner came to avEIGHT with an idea and designs for a witty tee shirt website. They were already starting to print tee shirts under the Two Padres brand, but their business model called for an e-commerce website that was easy to update and manage. Byte Merchant has been the perfect fit. Dan and Bryan can update almost every piece of the site, even though they are both non-web professionals. They are also utilizing "how did you hear about us" results and an e-mail club to build their business. If you are looking for a comfortable, funny and fashionable tee shirt check out Two Padres.

| FRUITFLOWERS - Fruitflowers.com |
| |
FruitFlowers hired
avEIGHT to design, code and host fruitflowers.com. avEIGHT worked
in conjunction with Matt
Davis to produce the look and feel FruitFlowers desired. Matt did all
of the illustrating and layout, then avEIGHT gave feedback and coded
the site. FruitFlowers had very specific needs for their web site.
In addition to static content, FruitFlowers' site contains a secure online store, as well as many customizations to suit their fast-paced, localized business model. The franchise aspect of their business requires that the online store function with the same considerations as the actual, local shops. Since all products are perishable and they require local delivery or pickup, FruitFlowers does not represent the typical online business. The site must act as a mesh of store fronts, just as their nationwide franchises do in the real world. |

| BRISTOL RIVERSIDE THEATRE - brtstage.org |
| |
The Bristol Riverside Theatre (BRT) was looking
to expand their audience by updating their website and offering
online
ticket
ordering. avEIGHT was hired to provide a full service solution.
Working in conjunction with Margraffix (designer) avEIGHT provided
a robust
ticketing solution (using our shopping cart software Byte Merchant)
allowing BRT to offer many online ticket options including: single
show
tickets,
season
tickets,
flexible
subscriptions,
senior/student discounts. As an added bonus the full season subscription
automatically adjusted price (by getting cheaper) after a play
had closed and was no longer available. avEIGHT included an
online
forum (forum.brtstage.org)
where play viewers can discuss the play they have just seen. Also,
BRT signed up for avEIGHT's mass
e-mail
club,
which
allows
BRT to e-mail information to people interested in their plays.
This season is looking better then ever, so when supporting the
arts, don't forget about the Bristol Riverside Theatre.

The Groundwork Group wholesales hand crafted items
for the home and garden. Groundwork wanted a website to show their
sales reps across the country their new products. avEIGHT stepped
in and created a database of the products that Groundwork had to
offer. Then avEIGHT created a web based administration tool for updating
the database so that Groundwork did not have to buy any proprietary
software. Also, avEIGHT created a "vignettes" page where the reps
could see the Groundwork products in a house setting. |

| JUDITH LYNN, COLDWELL BANKER - JudithL.com |
| |
Judith Lynn hired avEIGHT to bring her real estate business to the
web. Judith wanted her clients and potential clients to be able to
easily search all of her listings by price, location and type of home.
Judy's site has extremely straightforward presentation, providing substance at every turn. Due to the mainly off-line focus of the business of real estate, traffic and business generated by the site generally leads to phone calls or property walk-throughs. Judy's site functions like an electronic brochure of properties, giving visitors a real sense of what Judy can provide for them. |
