TWO PADRES - twopardes.com

Dan Oleski and Bryan Benner came to avEIGHT with an idea and designs for a witty tee shirt website. They were already starting to print tee shirts under the Two Padres brand, but their business model called for an e-commerce website that was easy to update and manage. Byte Merchant has been the perfect fit. Dan and Bryan can update almost every piece of the site, even though they are both non-web professionals. They are also utilizing "how did you hear about us" results and an e-mail club to build their business. If you are looking for a comfortable, funny and fashionable tee shirt check out Two Padres.

SALON THALIA - salonthalia.com

Salon Thalia opened in the prestigious Curtis Center in the middle of downtown Philadelphia in April, 2004. After being open for a few years Salon Thalia decided they wanted to expand their operation to include a website with e-commerce capabilities. Salon Thalia contacted avEIGHT and soon avEIGHT, with design help from Sean Kernick, had a fully functional website with a Byte Merchant e-commerce suite ready for Salon Thalia.

Trying to find a good place to buy your favorite hair and makeup products, featuring Kerastase, on the web... Be sure to check out Salon Thalia.

FRUITFLOWERS - Fruitflowers.com

FruitFlowers hired avEIGHT to design, code and host fruitflowers.com. avEIGHT worked in conjunction with Matt Davis to produce the look and feel FruitFlowers desired. Matt did all of the illustrating and layout, then avEIGHT gave feedback and coded the site. FruitFlowers had very specific needs for their web site.

In addition to static content, FruitFlowers' site contains a secure online store, as well as many customizations to suit their fast-paced, localized business model. The franchise aspect of their business requires that the online store function with the same considerations as the actual, local shops. Since all products are perishable and they require local delivery or pickup, FruitFlowers does not represent the typical online business. The site must act as a mesh of store fronts, just as their nationwide franchises do in the real world.

LIZ JACOBS - Lizjacobs.com
Liz Jacobs is the key hair and make-up artist for Free People. She has done the hair and make-up for the cover of such magazines as Philly Style and Philadelphia magazine. Recently Free People flew Liz to Marrakesh (Morrocco) for their spring '07 catalog shoot. Liz is in high demand. She has a diverse list of private clients who only trust Liz with their hair and make-up. Liz Jacobs is What's Really Good!
BRISTOL RIVERSIDE THEATRE - brtstage.org

The Bristol Riverside Theatre (BRT) was looking to expand their audience by updating their website and offering online ticket ordering. avEIGHT was hired to provide a full service solution. Working in conjunction with Margraffix (designer) avEIGHT provided a robust ticketing solution (using our shopping cart software Byte Merchant) allowing BRT to offer many online ticket options including: single show tickets, season tickets, flexible subscriptions, senior/student discounts. As an added bonus the full season subscription automatically adjusted price (by getting cheaper) after a play had closed and was no longer available. avEIGHT included an online forum (forum.brtstage.org) where play viewers can discuss the play they have just seen. Also, BRT signed up for avEIGHT's mass e-mail club, which allows BRT to e-mail information to people interested in their plays. This season is looking better then ever, so when supporting the arts, don't forget about the Bristol Riverside Theatre.

COYOPA PRODUCTIONS - Coyopa.com

Coyopa is a full service digital video production company. Coyopa was receiving a lot of calls from potential clients. Most times these potential clients were very unfocused. avEIGHT and Coyopa worked together to create a web site. that assisted potential clients in focusing their ideas as well as providing background information about Coyopa and its work flow.

Coyopa's first self-produced feature film has a site hosted by avEIGHT, as well: InvisibleMountains.com.

THE GROUNDWORK GROUP - 4groundwork.com
The Groundwork Group wholesales hand crafted items for the home and garden. Groundwork wanted a website to show their sales reps across the country their new products. avEIGHT stepped in and created a database of the products that Groundwork had to offer. Then avEIGHT created a web based administration tool for updating the database so that Groundwork did not have to buy any proprietary software. Also, avEIGHT created a "vignettes" page where the reps could see the Groundwork products in a house setting.
KOHERENT RECORDS - koherentrecords.com

Koherent Records wanted a site to showcase their new rapper and producer. avEIGHT designed a gritty urban site for them that highlight their stars on every page. The website is also set up to be easily edited with new information and will always look correct no matter how much information is added.

MICHELLE LIPSON - Michellelipson.com

Michelle Lipson is a high end furniture maker in Philadelphia. Michelle's old site was not giving her the look that she felt best represented her work, so she turned to avEIGHT's skilled design sense and usability expertise to bring the level of visibility to her work that she wanted.

Michelle's site is a virtual art gallery for her pieces. We think they look great, and we believe you will think so, too.

LA PEG PHOTO - lapegphoto.com

avEIGHT has designed a sharp site for the photographer Peggy Baud Woolsey, with rollover interactivity. The site showcasing her many different style of photos, contains small and large versions of her images.

JUDITH LYNN, COLDWELL BANKER - JudithL.com

Judith Lynn hired avEIGHT to bring her real estate business to the web. Judith wanted her clients and potential clients to be able to easily search all of her listings by price, location and type of home.

Judy's site has extremely straightforward presentation, providing substance at every turn. Due to the mainly off-line focus of the business of real estate, traffic and business generated by the site generally leads to phone calls or property walk-throughs. Judy's site functions like an electronic brochure of properties, giving visitors a real sense of what Judy can provide for them.
